The story begins with a study group tour of Yuseong High School. The students of Yuseong High School thought that they would ignore the school, but the students of the school understand their situation. When it is revealed that there is a real Manik High School next to the school, the relationship between the two schools becomes complicated. Garmin is a member of a study group club from the school, and he succeeds in rescuing Yoo Jun-min, who looks like a rich wallet, through interactions with students from Yuseong High School.

Garmin hears a rumor about a monster called Um Seok-dae and learns that students at Ilsang High School are afraid of him. Garmin decides that he is strong in fighting but will study, and encourages students at Yoosung High School to believe in their abilities and try. Students at Ilsang High School apologize to Garmin for the misunderstanding, and Yoo Jun-min apologizes for his disparaging remarks in middle school. Garmin understands each other's feelings, saying that Jun-min was jealous of him.

A study group room will be opened, but Garmin will clean up because the space is so messy. Hankyung is a teacher who was the chief of staff last year but changed to Yuseong Technical High School, and he pledges to change the school. The head of the school wants to test his ability, but Hankyung has doubts about him.

Students who smoke in the study group room, especially Homin, are known as the top students in the study rankings at Yuseong High School. Garmin pledges to study to beat Homin. The students know themselves exactly and realize that they can compete by comparing Garmin, who scored an average of eight points, to Sehyun, who is second in the school. The head of the school affairs department declares that he will test the study group students to raise the first place in the class by ten.

Se-hyun confesses that she has never been praised even though she is good at studying since she was young, and recalls being teased by Homin as a "jackpot." Looking at Garmin, Hee-won points out that Se-hyun thinks he is like a superhero in a cartoon, but he underestimates himself. Homin sees Se-hyun weakly and suggests getting a flick instead of a fight.

Se-hyun's dad insists on paying off his son's debt once he graduates from high school, but Se-hyun is in conflict, disappointed by his father's attitude. Adding to the conflict is that Se-hyun has to go home before the curfew, and the fact that she needs a taxi fare of W10,000. Garmin tries to help Se-hyun, and he tells her how to avoid it on the rooftop after the curfew is over.

In the end, Garmin gives hope to Se-hyun by saying, "Even if it's not a great victory, it's not a 100-point test paper that comforts the sense of defeat, but a single circle." Se-hyun now realizes the meaning and starts to gain confidence.
