Kang-hee (Ji Kang-hee), who passed out in the accident, does not wake up even though she is fine, making people worry. Kang-hee, who is conscious, is obsessed with the idea that her mother seems to have had an accident to save her, and suffers from self-inflicted feelings that she almost fell into danger until Yeonsu (Cheon Yeon-soo).

Ji Chun-pil (Choi Min-sik) explains to Kang-hee the situation at the time, and comfortes her that her mother seems to have saved you by shouting at her. Kang-hee asks why she didn't come then, and Chun-pil feels sorry for not being able to come because of an important appointment. Kang-hee reveals her feelings in anger at the fact that her mother was young, but her father is getting older.

Chun-pil talks about his past experience of being cheated and losing money and being in a detention center, and shares his regret for not being able to keep his promise to go to California with his wife. Kang-hee sees Su-ji sobbing when she hears the news of the accident, and secretly heads to the accident site with Yeonsu. Kang-hee leaves Yeonsu behind, witnesses her mother's death, and runs away in shock.

Kang-hee, who lost her memory after the accident as time passed, gradually recalls her memory and became confused. She asks Yeonsu if she has ever visited her here, but she says she can't remember. Meanwhile, at home, Ah-reum (Han-reum) is under pressure to marry her predecessor, but Kang-hee advises Ah-reum to break head-on.

Arum's mother ignores Seung-eon (Choi Seung-eon), who is an orphan and works hard, and threatens to hit him. Seung-eon says that she cannot leave for Seoul while waiting for her mother. Kang-hee learns that Seung-eon has been dumped in a motel, and she and Chun-pil are emotionally connected by looking at a picture with Seung-eon's mom. Seung-eon shows the picture she took with Kang-hee's mom, and confesses that she cherished her mom.

Kanghee sheds tears as she recalls the memory that her mother loved Seung-eon more than her. Kanghee, who went to Seoul, learns the complicated relationship between Seok-kyung (Geum Seok-kyung) and Esther (Seo Ye-hwa), and hears that Seok-kyung is having a hard time because of Esther. Seok-kyung was hiding the fact that Esther was a woman she lived with before marriage, and Kang-hee says that Esther already knows about it.

Meanwhile, Chun-pil tells natural numbers that he hopes to find his real life, stressing that Kang-hee is his life's everything. Kang-hee faces her past self as her memories come back, and she recalls the moment she lost her doll the day her mother left her. Kang-hee recalls seeing her mother in the accident and running away that day, recalling that her doll had been blocked in an exhaust box at the scene of the accident.

Young Kang-hee believes that her mother died of her own fault, and Kang-hee shows her painful heart as she is depicted. With all her memories back, Kang-hee says she will say goodbye to Yeon-soo and wait, saying she needs time alone. Yeon-soo comforts Kang-hee not to struggle for too long.

Chun-pil, who took pictures of Seung-eon and the elderly, asks Seung-eon for a portrait. Kang-hee confesses that what she can't forgive is that she gave birth to herself that her mother and father don't want. Chun-pil says he quit the band to go all-in with his wife and daughter, and apologizes that being indifferent to his wife was his biggest mistake.

The next day, Kang-hee sincerely apologizes to Su-ji and tries to open up her heart. Yeon-soo blocks Kang-hee from saying and first conveys her feelings. Yeon-soo confesses to Kang-hee that she wanted to be No. 1 to her and that she loves her, saying that she is all her beginning and end.

After Kang-hee says she loves her, she takes out her clothes and talks about her mother making plans to run away with her father, confessing that she was the one who eventually took away her father and Chun-pil's mother. Kang-hee says this to Ye-soo when she leaves saying I love her, and pleads with her not to do it. Ye-soo accepts Kang-hee's feelings and ends the story by leaving questions about how their relationship will change.
